She was living with her daughter Augusta Ellis in Curry District, Putnam Co. WV in the 1900 census.
She is known to be buried in Ousley's Gap based on an oral interview with dau. Mary Enfield Algeo-Gothard by Fred Lambert, which is the Lambert Collection in Marshall University.

A common spelling of her name was Amazetta, however, she signed several of her husband's civil war pension documents where she clearly spells it Amasetta.
