DEATH OF MRS. C. C. ALGEO
WELL KNOWN WOMAN, 57, VICTIM OF RARE BLOOD DISEASE
Born in Lawrence County and Had Always Lived in This District -Funeral Monday
Mrs. Alma Nina Algeo, 57, wife of Chalmer C. Algeo, prominent farmer and motor car salesman, died at 5:00 o'clock this morning at McCune-Brooks Hospital. Mrs. Algeo was a patient for a time at the Mayo Clinic at Rochester, Minn., and upon her return here on May 16, was admitted to McCune-Brooks. Death was due to hemmorrhagiea purpurn, a rare blood disease.
Mrs. Algeo was born March 18, 1883 in Lawrence county, Missouri. She and Mr. Algeo were married in Golden City March 2, 1904. They lived many years on a farm northeast of Carthage on the base line, only recently moving to the farm 3½ miles east of Carthage on Highway 66, which they purchased a few years ago.
Surviving are the husband; a brother, H. G. Sherrel and a sister, Miss Bertha Sherrel, both of Jasper route 1.
Mrs. Algeo was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church and was a teacher int he Sunday school 40 years.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Algeo home, east of Carthage.
The Rev. Mr. Lynch of Golden City will be in charge assisted by the Rev. Dr. G. F. Harbour. Burial will be in Fasken Cemetery.
