Harry M Alger died Friday night in Sinai Hospital. He was 62. Born in Toronto, he had lived in Detroit for 37 years. He operated Alger's Nursery in Ferndale for many years before moving the business to Detroit in 1955.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca, a son, two daughters; a brother, six sisters and eight grandchildren.
