AUBURN- Antoinette F. Aliberti, 98, of Lewiston died on Thursday August 21, 2014.
She was born in Portland, Maine on April 13, 1916 the daughter of the late Pandelion and Rosario (D’Ascanio) Profenno and had been a resident of this community all of her life.
Antoinette was the devoted wife of Henry J. Aliberti Sr. for seventy years. They got married on April 13, 1941; and he died on August 3, 2010.
She was a loving and attentive mother to six children, grandmother of ten and great grandmother of five.
She demonstrated an unusual gift of art at 80 years of age. Her art work brought pleasure to her family and friends.
Her other favorite activities included daily exercises, bingo, playing cards and she kept to this routine without fail. She was a young 98 having a joy of life, faith and family.
She is survived by her children Rosanne Dumond, Barbara Aliberti, Marie Nichols, Sandra Anestis, Henry Aliberti Jr. and Florence Kelley; her brother Joseph Profenno; and sister-in-laws Viola Palmacci, Connie Aliberti and Millie Aliberti.
