AURORA, Colo.—Services for Helene Easton Allias, 73, 1966 Lima St., Aurora, Colo., were conducted Wednesday, Feb. 1 in Aurora Chase Chapel. Burial was in Eastlawn in Aurora. Mrs. Allais died Saturday, Jan. 28 in St. Lukes Hospital, Denver, after a long illness.
She was a former resident of Rock Springs and Pinedale. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Alex and Gertrude Easton; a sister, Frances Hazen, and a brother, George C. Easton.
She was born July 25, 1910 in Gebo where she attended school and later moved to Rock Springs with her family. She married Emil P. Allais on July 13, 1936 in Sheridan. She and her family made their home in Rock Springs where Mrs. Allais worked as a waitress in the Park Hotel, Western Café, and Howards.
When Mr. Allais enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1942, she accompanied him to San Diego and later moved to Renton, Wash. where she worked for Boeing Aircraft. After the war, they moved back to Rock Springs and then to Pinedale, where they operated the Cowboy Bar and Café. In 1955, they moved to Aurora to make their home where Mrs. Allais worked in real estate until her illness.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Emil, are two sisters, Katheleen Romundstad, and Trudie Motto, both of Aurora, and a brother James R. (Buck) Easton of Aurora.
