Mrs. Addie Lois Allee Alford, age 78 of Austonio, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, December 15, 2005 surrounded by her children. Mrs. Alford was born October 6, 1927 in Lovelady and was one of nine children born to Ila Mae and John Chandler Allee. Mrs. Alford accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at the age of 12. Mrs. Alford was then baptized in the pond by the Austonio Baptist Church. Mrs. Alford graduated from Austonio High School in 1944 and married Willie "Bill" Alford on October 26, 1947 in Conroe and enjoyed 54 years of marriage before Bill passed away in November 2000. Survivors include her children Bell and Betty Alford, of Nacogdoches, Denise and John Waymer and Janene and Logan Lewellen, all of New Braunfels; grandchildren Windy and Gerald Bierbaum, of Las Vegas, Nev., Brent Harrison, of Newport Beach, Calif., Cristy Waymer, of Fort Worth, Wes and Virginia Waymer, of Orlando, Fla., Lindsey Waymer, of College Station, Emily Ann Lewellen, William and Carmen Lewellen, all of New Braunfels; great-grandchildren Worth, Atticus, Baxter, Holden and Jennifer Bierbaum, all of Las Vegas, Nev. and Gracelyn Waymer,of Crockett, Orlando, Fla.; several brothers and sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband Bill Alford; parents Ila Mae and John Chandler Allee; and several brothers and sisters. Funeral Services for Mrs. Addie Lois Allee Alford were held Saturday, December 17, at 2:00 p.m. at Austonio Baptist Church. Interment followed in the Creek Cemetery Callaway-Allee Funeral Home
