DEATH OF WM. ALLENDORF
Galena, Ill., Jan. 13.—Another of the boys of '61 answered the last bugle call Friday afternoon at 4:20 o'clock when William Allendorf died at his home at 213 Bouthiller street, Mr. Allendorf was aged 76 years and four months. Mr. Allendorf first enlisted in Company A, 96th Ill., Regiment and later was transferred to the 21st Ill., Regiment with which he served about one year and was honorably discharged. He was a member of E.D. Kittoe Post, G.A.R.
He is survived by his wife and six children, namely: Albert of Galena,.Mrs. Lillian Sahlln of Chicago,,William, J., and Frank of Dubuque, Mrs. E. W. Hutchinson of Clarion, La., and Harry of Benton, Wisc.
