After ninety-six years of living a fabulous life, Diana passed of natural causes at her home in Leisure Village, Camarillo.

Born August 2, 1914 in New York to Barney and Esther Jacobson. Diana was a founding member of the Jacobson-Kaufman-Milstrin-Solomen cousins club.

Diana is survived by her two sons, Mort (71), of Studio City and Rancho Mirage, and Barry (65) of Oak Park. Barry's wife Sharon, seven grandchildren, Brad, Eric, Lauren, Lon, Jody, Dr. Darin, and Radd, fourteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson. Diana is predeceased by her parents Barney and Esther, husband, Eddie Allen, daughter Esther "Rusty" Seiger, and granddaughter Cindy.

Diana and Eddie moved to Los Angeles in 1935 with baby Esther. When Mort was born in 1939, Diana and Eddie moved "South of Ventura" in the Valley and were one of the original six Jewish families to form the Valley Jewish Community Center.

Diana's hobby was buying and fixing up fixing up rental properties and became the matriarch of the Allen Family Real Estate Dynasty. In 1962, Diana bought a building at Whitsett and Ventura and along with son, Mort, opened Allen Realty, now forty-nine years later, it is still operating that the same location - with Diana sharing all the decision making until her last breath. Barry is a leading Real Estate attorney and carefully guided the family business.

After the 1994 earthquake, Diana moved from Studio City to Leisure Village. One of the truly great ladies of our times.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Mount Sinai Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills.
