Mrs. Sadie Allen, wife of Mr. Charles A. Allen, 604 W. Central after a long illness died of the city hospital last Tuesday aged 67 years. Her funeral was held at St. James A. M. E. church of which she was long a deaconess on Thursday at 2:30 P. M. under the auspices of Household of Ruth, 553. Reverend J. M. Henderson officiated. There was a large number of friends present and numerous beautiful floral tributes. Lyles funeral director, interment at Oakland Cemetery.
