She was born Feb. 2, 1881 at Westside, Iowa to William and Eliza Clark. She was married in 1902 to Clark Allen. He died in 1942. She was survived by 1 son Dean at Emporia, Kansas; 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, 1 son, 1 brother, 2 sisters.
