Agnes Palmer Allen
Age 82, beloved mother and grandmother, died peacefully at home on Friday, July 29, 2005.
She was born March 3, 1923 in Lewes, DE, daughter of the late Lindal and Blanche (McKim) Palmer.
Mrs. Allen was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Lewes where she was a member of the Mary Martha Circle.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar W. Allen in 1982. She is survived by her sons, Larry Allen of Lewes and Michael Allen of Sarasota, FL; grandchildren, Susan Allen of Lewes and Christopher Allen of Fishers, IN; great grandchildren, Connor and Tyler Allen of Fishers, IN; and her sister, Jean Howarth of Seaford, DE.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 2, 2005 at 10 am at Bethel United Methodist Church, 129 W. 4th Street, Lewes. Friends may call on Monday, August 1, 6-8 pm at PARSELL FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATORIUM, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Seaford, DE, at 2:30 pm.
