Ann I. Allen Age 82, of Seaford, DE, died Saturday, November 6, 2004 at Bayhealth-Kent General.
Mrs. Allen was born in Limon, CO, daughter of the late Clarence and Grace Robinson Ivey.
She was a Registered Nurse at the Stockley Center for 13 years retiring in 1990. Ann was a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Army serving in the 183rd Military Hospital Division in England during WWII.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul H. Allen, D.V.M. in 2002.
Her survivors include: 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, P. Scott Allen, Millville and Don S. Allen and wife, Carol, Los Angeles, CA; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Meg A. Lewis and husband, Jeffrey, Wyoming, DE and Kay A. West and husband, Kenneth, Seaford; 4 grandchildren, Scott Allen, Graham West, Britney Lewis and Heather Lewis; a brother, James N. O'Brien, Sparks, NV; and her loving cats, Shati and Maggie.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 12 at 1:00 pm at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Patriots Way, Millsboro. Friends may call Friday, November 12 from 11:30 - 12:30 in the chapel of SHORT FUNERAL SERVICES, 609 E. Market Street, Georgetown.
