Death 14 Jul 1850, "Disease of Lungs" and burial Plot C Block 1, Lot 12); Alma Allen, Utah Burials, Salt Lake City Cemetery Sexton Records, Plot C, Block 1, Lot 12; Deseret News, Vol. 1 #6, p. 46, 20 Jul 1850, FHL microfilm 26,586. "Died - on the 11th [sic] inst. a son of Daniel Allen." from accidental poisoning by "a dose of Red Precipitate in mistake for Red Pepper." The article warns about use of various poisons and medications.
