He was born Aug. 18, 1898, in Oshkosh, the son of Lawrence and Sarah Clancy Allen.
Mr. Allen was employed in the sales department of American Can Co. for over 30 years, retiring in 1962. He was a veteran of World War I and was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, the American Legion and the 25-Year Club of American Can.
Surviving is one sister, Dorothy Allen, Oshkosh.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in St. John's Catholic Church, the Rev. William Van De Kreeke officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at Marquardt Oregon Street Chapel Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m., with the rosary to be recited at 7 p.m.
