Mrs. Annie Bonkemeyer Allen, 91, formerly of Wiley Lewis Road, Greensboro, died Wednesday, September 3, 1997.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Lambeth-Troxler Chapel with the Rev. Vance Lowe officiating. Entombment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park.

Mrs. Allen was born March 19, 1906, in Randolph County, to the late Rodolph and Nannie Hughes Bonkemeyer. A homemaker, Mrs. Allen was a member of Moriah United Methodist Church and a member of the Womens Christian Society.

She was married to Richard Britt Allen, who preceded her in death on June 25, 1993. Mrs. Allen is survived by one sister, Mrs. Jewell McAdams of Delray Beach, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
