Anna Ruth (McGuire) Allen, was born At age 80, she entered into eternal rest Thursday, May 21, 2008 at her residence with her loved ones in Dayton, Ohio.
She was a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee and a resident of Dayton for over 70 years.
Anna is a product of Dayton Public School System, Garfield Elementary and Dunbar High School.
She has worked in the city of Dayton all of her life, first for private families and then for General Motors until she retired.
Anna joined Tabernacle Baptist Church at a very young age and was active in Sunday school and BTU.
Her father MC McGuire, Sr., her mother, Nellie K. McGuire and her sister, Mildred "Antie" McGuire Sherrer, all preceded her in death.
Anna leaves to mourn her passing a devoted and faithful husband of 64 years, Herman Ralph Allen, Sr.; son, Herman Ralph (Beverly) Allen, Jr.; daughter, Debra Allen; sons, Reginal T. (Elaine) Allen, John C. (Linda) Allen; grandchildren, Kimberly Allen (Charles) Forte, Nikki Allen, Donyell R., Derrick, Devin Allen, Reginal Allen , Jr.; great grandchildren, Roderick, Rian, Ravyn, Reginae Allen, Regina Allen, Janica Jackson; great great grandchild, De'Angelo R.
