Services are 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home with burial in Lakewood Memorial Park.
A Mississippi native, Mrs. Alford moved to the Jackson area from Smith County. In Jackson, she attended Forest Hill High School and was a member of the Byram Baptist Church. She retired last July as secretary of Heavy Equipment of Pearl where she worked for 26 years.
Survivors include sons, John Edward Alford of Pearl and Thomas Allen Alford of Byram; daughters, Carrie Jean Durphy of Byram and Peggy Blackwell of Vicksburg; brothers, Milton Allen of Jackson and Monroe Allen of Enterprise; sister, Eva Lusk of Hazlehurst; and 11 grandchildren.
