Albert Richard Allen was the fifth child and fourth son born to Elmer Ellsworth and Lillian Mable (Minick) Allen. Albert first married Donna Marie Anderson on November 8, 1942. Donna Marie sadly died after giving birth to their daughter: Patricia Ann Allen. Donna Marie was 18 years old. On December 17, 1945 he then married Dorothy Ann Meyerkorth, together they had a son: Larry Dee Allen who was born and died on April 21, 1947. They had a daughter on January 9, 1949 , Sandra Kay "Sandy" Allen.

Albert leaves his two daughters Pat Attebery & Sandy Streit. A son-in law David Attebery. 2 grandsons, Darren Attebery & wife Bonnie, and William "Will" Streit. Along with 7 great grandkids and 5 great-great grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his two wives, one son and two grandsons Kelly Ryan Attebery & Michael Patrick Attebery.

He loved to go down to the American Legion in Auburn Nebraska. He was rarely seen without his bib overalls. He is deeply missed by many.
