RDEVA ADELMANN

Byrdeva M. Adelmann, age 86, of 1702 S. 14th St., Manitowoc, died on Tuesday morning, April 22, 2008, at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.
She was born on Nov. 7, 1921, in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Jack and Caroline (VanLannen) Allen. On May 10, 1941, she married Theodore Adelmann in Iowa. Byrdeva and Ted were co-owners of Adelmann Hauling in Manitowoc for many years.
He preceded her in death on Oct. 28, 2000. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Manitowoc Eagles.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law; a daughter-in-law; 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and five sisters: (Survivors omitted for privacy.) Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Byrdeva was prceded in death by her son: John Adelmann. She was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 25, 2008, at The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, 928 S. 14th St., Manitowoc and 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. John Schuetze, with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2008. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m., led by Deacon Alan Boeldt.
The visitation will continue on Friday morning, April 25, 2008, at The Pfeffer Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until the time of the morning prayer service at 10 a.m.
