MRS. DOROTHY BOWEN, age 69, of LaGrange, Ga., died Wednesday, December 23, 1998. Mrs. Allison was born in Birmingham, Alabama, daughter of the late William and Ila Hamilton Bowen. She had lived in LaGrange since 1963 and was the wife of the late Dr. F. A. (Al) Allison. Mrs. Allison was a member of Broad Street Church of Christ and Highland Country Club.
Graveside services will be held Saturday at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, Alabama at 3 o'clock (EST) with Alan McCormick officiating. It is the request of the family that flowers be omitted and those desiring may make contributions to the Troup County division of the American Heart Association in Mrs. Allison's memory, (P. O. Box 696, LaGrange, Ga. 30241). Arrangements are by StrifflerHamby Mortuary, at 1010 Mooty Bridge Road, LaGrange, Georgia.
