Ellen was born in Michigan, the daughter of the late Buster Allman and Margie Rider. Survived by her daughter and son-in-law; a son and daughter-in-law; three brothers and two sisters-in-law; sister-in-law; three grandchildren; niece; nephew; two step- brothers and step-sister, and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services were held Sunday, January 26, 2014 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega. Rev. Bill Hutcheson officiated. Interment followed in the Old Cane Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
