Leesburg- Mr. Dennis Samuel Allman, 65, of Albany, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Phoebe North Hospital.

Services honoring the life of Mr. Allman will be conducted at 10:00 AM, Friday, October 9, 2015 at Andersonville National Cemetery with military honors. His brother-in-law, Rev. Matthew Harrell will officiate.

Born June 19, 1950 in Thomasville, Mr. Allman was the son of the late Cecil and Pauline Smith Allman. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and served in The Vietnam Era. Mr. Allman retired with over twenty-five years with the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany and enjoyed working with wood. His family was his life and he will be greatly missed by them all.

Survivors include his wife, Pamela Harrell Allman of Albany; children, Donovan Allman and wife, Angel of Lakeland, FL., Ethan Blake Allman of Albany, Heather Nichole Taylor of Moultrie and Misty Oliver of Sylvester; brothers, Lamar and Jeff; sisters, Cathy, Bobbie, Glenda and Beth and five grandchildren, Zoey, Brooke, Hayden, Ansley and Madeline.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Allman was preceded in death by his brother, Glenn Allman.

The family will receive friends following the service at Andersonville National Cemetery.

Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home of Leesburg has been given the honor to serve the Allman family.
