Calvin Walter Allmand, 1415 Wesley Street, died at his home Sunday morning at 6 a.m. He had been in ill health since 1940.

Mr. Allmand was born March 3, 1871, the son of James H. Allmand and Rebecca Hannah Allmand. He came to Texas with his parents and was reared in the Wagner Community. He had been a resident of Greenville for the past 34 years and was a retired cotton man.

Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2:30 at the Wesley Methodist Church with the pastor Rev. C.B. Fielder, officiating. Burial was in Forest Park Cemetery. Pallbearers were Aub Woodard, Joe Rutherford, John Ellis, Ed Rutherford, U.H. Ellis and Red Warren.

Gray-Sorrells funeral home was in charge of the service.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Randolph, who lives in South America; three daughters, Mrs. Grace Robinson and Mrs. W.C. Hossack, both of California, and Miss Joyce Allmand of New York; one sister, Mrs. D.G. Riley, Houston.
