Betty Allmand, 85, of Henrietta, Texas passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2015.
Funeral services will be at 2:00PM, Friday, March 6, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Henrietta, Texas with Rev. Howard Walker, pastor of the First Christian Church in Henrietta, Texas officiating and Rev. Randy Osborne, pastor of the First Baptist Church, assisting. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery in Henrietta, Texas under the direction of Davis Funeral Home.
Mrs. Allmand was born on October 23, 1929 in Olton, Texas to Frank Wallace and Lucy Frances (Huckabee) Stone. She married Gene Allmand on August 23, 1963 in Henrietta, Texas. Mrs. Allmand was a secretary for the ASCS office for thirty years before her retirement and she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Henrietta.
Mrs. Allmand was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Justin Walsh.
Survivors include her husband Gene Allmand of Henrietta, Texas; their children, Rodney Whitley of Texarkana, Gary Allmand and wife Deb of Wichita Falls, Kirby Whitley and wife Donna of Henrietta, Diane Whitley of Henrietta, Debbie Bachman and husband David of Henrietta, and Mike Allmand and wife Kay of Henrietta; 21 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Sue Morris and husband Homer of Wichita Falls; three brothers, Bill Stone and wife Judy of Granbury, Tom Stone and wife Edie of Duncan, Oklahoma, Jim Stone of Henrietta.
The family will be at Davis Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 7:00PM-8:00PM.
