On April 23, 2013, Carolyn Allworth, age 80, born March 13, 1933, passed away peacefully in Sarasota, Florida. Daughter of Stanley and Judy Seitz of Dearborn, MI. Pre-deceased by husband and love of her life Major Robert Allworth. Devoted mother of David, Mark, Timothy, Judy, and the late Michael and grandmother to their 14 children. Loving step-mother to Robert, Bill, and Paul Allworth, Barbara Asman and grandmother to their nine children. Proud graduate of Northwestern University with a degree in Education, Carolyn was an exceptional teacher, former employee of US Air, Life Bridge Master, and member of the Sarasota Opera Guild. Carolyn will be remembered for her exemplary kindness, sense of optimism and humor, and her undeniable devotion to her large blended family. Memorial services will be held 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 3 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Groveton, Virginia followed by burial in Quantico National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice.
