St. Leo's R. C. Baptismal records = born May 25,1890. Grew up in "Kerry Patch," attended Christian Brothers College, graduating "Master of Accounts" from the "Commercial Department" in June of 1908.

Served in France (Sergeant) with the 12th Engineers Light Railway Regiment, 1917-1919. Over 40 years with Mercantile-Commerce Bank & Trust Co.,St. Louis.

Married Mary Ruth Rogers (1899-1972) daughter of James J. Rogers (1872-1909) and Margaret Corbett (1879-1969) September 24, 1923.
