Mrs. Anna D. Althouse, 52 years of age, died at her home here, 229 West Mulberry street, at 7:30 o'clock Tuesday morning. She suffered a stroke of apoplexy Monday and succumbed after but one day's illness.
She was born in Monroe county, New York, July 6, 1874, and married W. H. Althouse in that state. They came to Fort Collins in August, 1915, and have made their home here since. Mrs. Althouse is survived by her husband and by two daughters, Miss Hazel Althouse and Miss Helen Althouse, both of whom have been making their home with their parents here. She also is survived by her mother and by five sisters and two brothers, all in New York.
There will be no funeral service here, and the body will be sent to Spencerport, N. Y., for burial, leaving here at 3:10 p.m. Wednesday. Friends may see her at Balmer's undertaking parlors before 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
