Stastad, one of the early pastors of West Moe church. At the time Mrs. Amlie was confirmed the West Moe church had not been built so confirmation was held in a schoolhouse in Urness township. She received her early schooling at what is known as Dist. 5. Mrs. Amlie has been a faithful member of the West Moe church until her passing. On Dec. 16, 1899, she was united in marriage to Ole K. Amlie at the West Moe church by Rev. O. Juul. Mr. and Mrs. Amlie had been residents of Moe township until two years ago when Mr. Amlie retired from farming and they purchased a home in Brandon.

Surviving are her husband; two nephews, Phillip and Clifford Johnson of Moe; one niece, Alice (Mrs. Anton Sletto) of Brandon. Funeral services were held Sunday, March 18, at 1:30 from the residence, and 2:30 from the West Moe church, Rev. A. T. Tjornhom officiating.
