Mrs. Josephine Anders, 84, of 267 E Cotton St., died at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday at Care Center East.
She was born Marh 17, 1890 in Johnsburg, a daughter of Christ and Katherine Konen Stephany. She was married to George Anders on February 15, 1915, at St. Marys church, Fond du Lac. Mrs. Anders was a member of St. Marys Church, Altar and Rosary Society and Third Order of St. Francis.
Survivors include her widower; a son, Walter "Gabby" Anders of Fond du Lac; two daughters, Mrs. Mel Randerson of Crooked Lake and Mrs. Kenneth Hodgden of Fond du Lac; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and a brother Phillip Stephany of San Rafael, Calif. Seven sisters preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Marys Church. The Rev. Ernest Dreher will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
