Mrs. Chr. Andersen Laid to Rest

Funeral services for Mrs. Chris Andersen pioneer resident of the Drammen community who passed away at her home early Friday morning following a short illness were held from the Diamond Lake Lutheran church on Sunday afternoon, the Rev. H. Ibsen conducting the service. Interment was made in Diamond Lake cemetery.

Anna Jensen Miller was born in Sleevig, Denmark on February 24, 1868, and at her death on March 15, 1940 had attained the age of 72 years and 21 days.

In 1887 she emigrated to America and three years later she came to Lincoln County to reside, having made her home here since that date. She was united in marriage in 1902 to Mr. Chris Andersen, the couple taking up their residence on the present home site in Drammen township.

Three children were born io this union, all of whom survive. They are Andrew, Jens and Marie Andersen, all living at home. Surviving her passing also are one sister, Mrs. John Gylling of this community, and several nephews and nieces. Mr. Andersen preceeded her in death thirteen years ago.

Mrs. Andersen had long been a faithful member of the Diamond Lake Lutheran church. She leaves a host of firends who extend their heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
