ELLEN ANDERSEN

Ellen Marie Andersen was born June 6, 1893 near Tyler, Minneota and was the daughter of Ole and Sena Andersen. She lived on the home farm until 1953 when she moved into Tyler and lived here until she went to live at the Divine Providence Nursing Home in Ivanhoe in 1983. She was baptized and confirmed at the Diamond Lake Lutheran Church, but she became a member of Danebod Lutheran Church when she moved into Tyer. She is survived by one brother, Hans Andersen of Lake Oswiego, OR and one sister Marie Nielsen of Ramona, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.

Monday July 13, 2 p.m., funeral services were held for Ellen Andersen at Danebod Lutheran Church, Tyler. Rev. Karl Lunder officiated. Mary Jensen served as organist and the congregation sang, Love Divine, All Love Excelling and My hope is Built on Nothing Less.

Casket bearers were Chester Ratajczak, Dean Nielsen, Harlan Nielsen, Steven Petersen, Loren Petersen and Doyle Sorensen. Interment was at Diamond lake Cemetery, Lake Benton with Robin Walls, director of Utoft-Johansen Funeral home, making the arrangements.
