James Fleming "Andy" Anderson, was born on November 15, 1926 in Hillsboro, Coffee County, Tennessee, and he was the son of Edward "Ed" Anderson (1871–1929) and his wife Mary "Ethel" (Smythe) Anderson (1886–1967).
Andy was a US Army veteran who served during World War II. After his service he became an electrician and the owner of A&M Electric, and he was married on February 4, 1949 in Coffee County to Wanda Lee Copeland (ca 1927– ).
Living in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee, he was 86 years old and married when he passed away on February 28, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ethel and Ed Anderson, three brothers and three sisters, while survivors included his widow, several sons, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside Services were held in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Nashville.
