Katherine Hall (Hurst) Anderson was born on March 24, 1918, the daughter of Montie Malcolm Hurst (1894-1941) and Margaret Elizabeth (Colson) Hurst ( -1979).
She was the wife of A Edwin Anderson, PhD and was a very active member of West End United Methodist Church for over 60 years. She was also a member of the Belmont Garden Club and The Wednesday Study Club.
A resident of Nashville, Tennessee, she was 96 years old when she passed away on July, 7, 2014.
Preceded in death by her husband and by her sister Elizabeth (Hurst) Stewart, while survivors include a married son; two daughters and a son-in-law; ten grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and two 2nd-great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
