Lafayette F. Anderson was the eighth of eleven known children born to John Anderson (1791-1842) and Nancy Rebecca Davenport (1795-1864). He was born on 4 Nov 1826 in Mayfield, Graves County, Kentucky. He never married, studied medicine (1850 Census), and was a deputy clerk (1860 Census). He died on 12 Feb 1869 and was buried here in the Anderson Family Cemetery. Mrs. Fenton identified and photographed the marker on Sunday, November 12, 2017.
