FREEDOM - Scott Anderson Jr., 24, passed away suddenly in Troy, on Monday, July 20, 2015. He was born in Lewiston, on Feb. 13, 1991. He is the son of Scott and Dyann Anderson of Freedom. He attended Mt View High School and graduated in 2010, with special thanks to Matt Bennett and Bonnie Shaw!

Scott currently was employed by G & E Roofing in Augusta. He was very proud to be the first guy on the roof and the last one off. He was hoping to graduate soon from a yellow hat to a white hat. He had previously worked at various farms including Thompson Farm in Knox, Wren Farm in Thorndike and Maple Shade Farm in Albion. Scott also did various odd jobs and was known to be a hard working young man.

Scott loved driving around with his girls, Casey and Rozie (their dog), swimming, fishing, hunting, guns, atv's and spending time with family and friends. He really enjoyed helping his dad build, fix, or just tinkering around, whenever he needed. Scott's smile will be forever missed. Whenever you saw him, he would always greet you with that big smile. He had a great sense of humor and a personality to go along with it. Scott will be leaving a huge hole in all of our hearts.

He was predeceased by his grandfather, Charles Anderson; and his great-aunt, Irene Reynolds.

He is survived by his parents Scott and Dyann Anderson of Freedom; his companion and soul mate, Casey White of Troy; his sister Amanda Anderson and her three children of Frankfort, his sister Shawna Raven of Knox, his brother Dakota Raven of Freedom; his grandmother Sylvia Anderson of Rockland, his grandparents David and Ethel Greenleaf of Montville, his grandmother Joyce Creasey of Albion; as well as several aunts, uncles; and cousins.

The family would like to thank the emergency crews that were there on the 20th for all of your efforts. We would especially like to thank all of our family who have been so amazing at this time. We also want to thank all of our neighbors, friends, co-workers, local businesses, and all of those who have sent sincere thoughts and prayers our way.

The Memorial will be held at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Freedom. Arrangements are by Lawry Brothers, 107 Main St., Fairfield.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations for funeral expenses to: Lawry Brothers of Fairfield, Maine (Central Maine Newspapers 7/27/2015)
