Alice Della Anderson was born on January 19, 1921 in Mansfield, Louisiana to Thomas and Exodu Jackson. She was the youngest of two daughter. Her parent and her iter, Ethel Ruth preceded her in death.

Alice received her formal education in the Mansfield Public Schools. She accepted Christ at an early age wa baptized and continued her journey with the Lord throughout her life.

She wa united in holy matrimony to Bige Fred Ander on on March 26, 1942. This union was blessed with four children: Fred, James, Jerry (deceased) and Deborah (deceased).

The family relocated to Michigan and joined First Baptist Church of Ecorse, where Alice remained a member until he wa called home by God on Saturday, June 19,2010

Alice wa a wife, homemaker, mother and career woman. She was employed by Montgomery Ward a a Customer Relation /Head Cashier for 27 year , retiring in 1990.

Alice wa blessed with a long life. Anyone who got to know her soon realized that he loved to hop and "get dressed up". She continued this until her failing health made it impossible for her to do so.

She had a special kind of love for her two urviving son and during her extended ilines he looked forward to their regular visits where they would bring treat and hare information about relative and friends. She remained mentally alert and harp until the end
