Annie Lue McAtee Anderson was born September 24, 1925, in Attala County near Goodman, MS. She was one of thirteen children of the late Hosie and Lillie McAtee.

She received her education from the Attala County Public School System.

She accepted Christ at an early age and united with St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church in Attala County, MS; under the leadership of Rev. Ollie Young, Pastor.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. James Anderson on May 23, 1943, and to this union, they were blessed with eight children.

She served as a Food Handler for fifteen years at Goodman-Pickens Elementary School.

Annie departed this life on Thursday, July 7, 2016, at UMC Hospital in Jackson, MS.

She leaves the following loved ones to cherish her loving memories her loving Husband, James Anderson of Goodman, MS; daughters, Jannie Montgomery of Chicago, IL; Dorothy Falls (Homer) of Goodman, MS; and Vida Crosby of Chicago, IL; five sons, Hosie Anderson (Ruby) of Chicago, IL; James E. Anderson of Goodman, MS; Charles Anderson (Rita) of Rockford, IL, Ricky Anderson (Geraldine) of Goodman, MS; Tom Anderson (Bridget) of Memphis, TN; a special God-daughter, Janell Groves of Goodman, MS; two sisters, Leora Smith (Tommy) of Chicago, IL; and Irene Cole (Henry) of Goodman, MS; a brother, James McAtee of Kansas, MO; fifteen grandchildren; one preceded her in death, Kirby Anderson; twenty-one great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren, and she leaves a host of other relative, and loving friends.

Services--- Saturday, Jul 16, 2016, at noon at Goodman-Pickens Elementary School, Pickens, MS.
Interment--- St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, Goodman, MS.
