Inez Guyton Anderson
Mrs. Inez Guyton Anderson, the third child of the late Frank and Lula Guyton was born on February 8, 1926, in Attala County, MS. She attended the public schools of Attala County, MS.
At an early age, she joined Cedar Grove M. B. Church. Later she moved her membership to New Banyon M. B. Church. She was a tiny lady that loved to cook and eat. On December 22, 1945, Inez was united in Holy Matrimony to Leon Anderson. To this union, five children were born.
She departed this life on Saturday, September 29, 2007, at Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital in Kosciusko, MS. One grandson, Edward V. Leavy, and one step-grandson, Herbert Stingley, preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memories, four daughters, Ms Dorothy Nell Anderson, Mrs. Sallye (Joe) Leavy of Kosciusko, MS; Mrs. Dorothy (Poot) Leavy, and Ms. Laura Anderson both of Fallis, MS; one son, Auther (Dorothy) Anderson of Sallis, MS; three sisters, Mary Little and Dorothy Sandifer of Kosciusko, MS; Athel (James) Griffin of Milwaukee, WI; four brothers; Flem (Emma) Guyton of Sallis, MS; Fred (Ora) Guyton of McAdams, MS; Frank Guyton of Waterloo, IA; and Simon (Alean) Guyton of Milwaukee, WI; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren. Two grandchildren, she raised as her own, Benita and Chancey, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
