Anderson, a retired bus driver, died July 21, 2000, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS.

He was a native of Attala County, MS; and a member of Harpole Chapel Baptist Church.

He is survived by six daughters, Betty Jackson, Nettie McLauren of Chicago, IL; Bobbie Sias of Rosedale, MS; Jessie Reel, Helen Anderson of Houston, MS; Prience Davis of Grand Prairie, TX; sons, Cleotha Anderson of Houston, TX; B. T. Anderson of Memphis, TN; Charles Anderson, Sr., of Hopkinsville, KY; sisters, Mrs. Christine Rockett of Sallis, MS; and Mrs. Cora Meeks of Memphis, TN; a brother, James Anderson of Goodman, MS; foster daughter, Sallie Mae Harrison, a number of grandchildren.

Burial in Hopewell Cemetery.
Rev. Joe D. Reel officiated.
Winters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Sons and grandsons served as pallbearers.
