KOSCIUSKO — Mrs. Katheryne Anderson Black, 64, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at her home in Attala County. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 27, at Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Zama Kelly Cemetery. Rev. Willie Bishop will officiate.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 26, from 5 - 8 p.m.
Mrs. Black, an Attala County native, was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Glenn Black and father, Auzzie Anderson.
She is survived by her mother, Ethel Threet Brett of Kosciusko; sons, Wayne Parks, Jr. (Denise) of Kosciusko, Westley Black of Zama; daughters, Waynette Jackson (Baxter) of Drew, Debra Ellis (Charles) of Vicksburg; brother, James Edwin Bain of Ethel; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
