Born in 1895 according to Swedish Church Records was one of ten children, four of which came to the US, of Per Oskar Goransson Sjostrom and Mathilda Fiona Karlsson both of Hasslo, Blekinge, Sweden. Immmigrated in 1913. Wife of Carl Anderson with which she had four children: Einar, twins Mathilda and John Oscar, and Chester. Resided in the Bronx, NY where she died at Fordham Hospital of "septicemia following a normal miscarriage".
