DeWayne Dennis Anderson, age 28, passed away Monday evening, January 12, 2009, at the Doctors Hospital of Tattnall. The Toombs County native had lived in Reidsville most of his life. He was a 1998 graduate of Tattnall County High School. He attended Georgia Southern University and Southeastern Technical College. He had worked previously for the Drug Store as a Pharmacist Tech and as a CNA at Tattnall Hospital. DeWayne enjoyed working on computers and swimming.


He is survived by his parents, Gene and Madlin Anderson of Reidsville; a brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Darla Anderson of Reidsville; four half brothers, Bobby Lee Kite, Jr. of Vidalia, Donald Ray Kite, Ronald Lee Kite and Benny Ray Kite, all of Lyons; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.


Pallbearers were members of the TCHS Graduating Class of 1998. Honorary pallbearers were Rogers State Prison Honor Guard.


Funeral services were held Friday, January 16, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home with Reverend William Prince and Pastor Rob Roy MacGregor officiating. Interment followed in the Hardens Methodist Chapel Cemetery.


Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
