Published in The Paducah Sun, Paducah, McCracken Co., Ky., 3 Feb 2003 - NASHVILLE, Tenn.--Services for Alice May "Alene" Anderson of Nashville will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Arlington United Methodist Church. Dr. Edward Britt will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Mrs. Anderson died Friday evening at Lakeshore Heartland Nursing Home.

Manager of church and church school supplies at Cokesbury Bookstore for 25 years, Mrs. Anderson was also a longtime member of Arlington United Methodist Church.

Surviving are one daughter, Patricia Beeler of Knoxville; one son, James Jeffery Anderson of Goodlettsville; one brother, Paul E. May of Paducah; four grandsons; and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Anderson Jr.; and two brothers. Her parents were William E. May and Edna Lambert May.

Friends may call between 6 and 8 p.m. today at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Nashville, which is in charge of arrangements.
