ROXBURY — Mrs. Eleanor ( Anderson) Conway, 85, of 7 Apple Lane, died Saturday, May 26, 2007, at her home. She was the wife of the late Jeremiah B. Conway.
Mrs. Conway was born June 14, 1921, in New Milford, daughter of the late Charles and Minnie (Treutle) Anderson. She graduated from Booth Free School and had attended Stone Business School. Mrs. Conway was a homemaker and resided in Roxbury her whole life. She was member of Christ Church in Roxbury and enjoyed gardening and horseback riding.
She leaves three sons, William Conway and his wife, Lillian, James Conway and his wife, Kathy, and Jeremiah C. Conway and his wife, Gail, all of Roxbury; six grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Amelia Anderson Squires, and a granddaughter, Emily Jo Conway.
A funeral service will be held at Christ Church on Thursday at 11 a. m. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 2 School St., on Wednesday from 7:30 to 9 p.m.
