"Phyllis headed the drama department of the Erskine School in Boston during the 1930s and also directed the Harvard, Radcliffe and Wellesley dramatic clubs. During WWII while her husband served in the Navy, Phyllis worked for ABC as head of the Theatre Guild's play department.
Phyllis was associate producer with the Guild of William Inge's play "Come Back, Little Sheba." In 1952 she joined the Music Corp of America and worked there mostly in developing young playwrights and directors.
Phyllis died following lengthy illness."
