He was a member of the St. James A.M.E. Church and an Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by one daughter, Susie Miller of Atlanta; two sons, Henry L. Anderson Jr. of Mayfield and Karl Anderson of Owensboro; seven grandchildren; and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Evans Anderson; his parents, Les and Lennie Williams Anderson; a son; Gene Edward Senter; one sister; and one brother.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield with Howard House officiating. Burial with military rites will follow in Peaceful Valley Cemetery.
