Allan L. Anderson, 56, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2010 in Alamogordo, NM. He was born in Alamogordo to Ollie and Blaine Anderson on November 19, 1953.
Allan attended special education classes in Alamogordo and El Paso, TX. He worked at the Opportunity Center in Alamogordo.
As a youth, Allen loved swimming and riding his bicycle. He was an avid football and wrestling fan and loved collecting sports memorabilia. He enjoyed reading and listening to his favorite 60's music tunes. Allan's happy life was evidenced by the constant smile he always wore.
Allan was preceded in death by his father, Blaine Anderson; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A.L. Anderson (The Fair Store); and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Mary Jarvis.
Survivors include his mother, Ollie Anderson; siblings, Ken Anderson (Trish), Barbara Anderson and Lee Cruz(Cesar); four nieces; and nine great nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 23, 2010 at Monte Vista Cemetery.
