Actor. Born Tiger Androwaous, he is best known to many for the role of "Captain Adam Greer" in the 1960s and 1970s television series "The Mod Squad." After making his movie debut in the 1955 film "Mr. Roberts," Andrews had countless credits which include "The Wings of Eagles" (1957), "Imitation General" (1958), "China Doll" (1958), "Onionhead" (1958), "A Private Affair" (1959) and "The Last Tycoon" (1976). He also had appearances in the television series "The Phil Silvers Show," "The Detectives Starring Robert Taylor," "The Big Valley," "The Fugitive," "Star Trek," "Police Woman," "Kojak," "Quincy, M.E." and "Murder, She Wrote." During World War II, Andrews served in the US Army and was wounded in combat. In addition to his acting career, Andrews was also an accomplished painter.
