C. Reid Andrews, 91, of Mountain Road, Randleman died Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro.

Mr. Andrews was born on May 31, 1923 at Bonlee, NC. He was the son Charlie Monroe and Stella (Rives) Andrews. Reid served in the Army Air Corps during World War II, attended Campbell College and also was a licensed realtor. He was owner of Firestone Auto Suppy and Service of Randleman for 65 years. Mr. Andrews was one of the first developers of Lake Tillery properties and was president of A & C Enterprises.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mary Henry Andrews; sisters, Janet Russell, Oma Crutchfield, Ava Lee Brown and Willie Philbrick; brothers, Jack, Keller and Mack Andrews.

He is survived by ten nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 29, 2014 following graveside service at Sandy Branch Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.. The funeral will be Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Bonlee Baptist Church with Rev. Darrell Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Sandy Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, Bear Creek.
