Bessie Pearl Anderson Andrews, 94, of Siler City died Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Coventry House of Siler City.

Mrs. Andrews was born October 9, 1921 the daughter of Charlie Frank and Carie Wier Anderson. Mrs. Andrews was a native of Guilford County. Bessie and her husband started Brownie Lu Restaurant and ran the Carolina Restaurant in Siler City. Bessie was a Worthy Matron in the Eastern Star and was in the Dig and Dream Garden club. Bessie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, W. B. "Brownie" Andrews, brothers, Porter Anderson and Frank Anderson, a grandson, Todd Andrews.

She is survived by son: Terry Andrews and wife, Patsy of Siler City, NC, Sister; Alta Curtis of Randleman, NC

The funeral will be 2:00 PM Sunday at Moon's Chapel Baptist Church, 175 Moon's Chapel Road, Siler City with Rev. Scott Faw officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 PM in the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
